Renault has responded to the many customer demands for an extra Koleos to be added to the line-up. By listening to the people who know best, a new top-of-the-range has been added and will be known as the Privilege. The Koleos Privilege Diesel takes the place at the top of the Koleos line-up and comes standard with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and 4×4 drivetrain. It’s powered by a Renault-designed 2.0-litre dCi turbo-diesel, four-cylinder engine, boasting an impressive fuel-consumption of just 7.6-litres per 100km, on the combined cycle. The top-of-the-range Privilege model comes with a host of standard features including panoramic glass roof, bi-xenon headlamps with fixed cornering lights, parking sensors, hands-free entry and ignition, joystick-operated integrated satellite navigation, Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, and 18-inch alloy wheels as standard. The practical and versatile Koleos Privilege Diesel includes an innovative child-minder mirror which allows the driver to easily view the rear seat occupants – a particularly useful feature for parents of young children. The Koleos is comfortable and nimble in the city, yet it boasts real off-road ability. It is ideal for escaping from the urban jungle to the great outdoors thanks to its all-wheel drive traction system supplied via the Renault-Nissan Alliance. Justin Hocevar, Managing Director of Renault Australia welcomed the new model. “The Koleos Privilege Diesel makes a welcome addition to the Koleos family. Our customers having been asking for a top specification diesel and we are delighted to be able to launch one. “Koleos sales are up 90 per cent year-to-date, as a result of our refocussing on the model line-up and the mid-life update we undertook a short while ago. We are delighted the response from the market has been so positive.” he said. The Koleos Privilege Diesel has a manufacturer’s list price of $45,490. Like all Renault passenger vehicles, the Koleos boasts a five year/unlimited kilometre warranty and is currently available with Renault’s 0 per cent finance offer (which ends on 16 December 2012.)
