Toyota will stage the global premiere of the all-new fourth generation RAV4 at the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show later this month.

As the preview image indicates, the top-selling medium SUV’s exterior has been boldly redesigned to create a striking, athletic stance.

The event will be broadcast live via Livestream at: http://new.livestream.com/toyota.

In addition, a live chat with Toyota division group vice president and general manager Bill Fay will be broadcast live on Livestream from 11:30am to noon the same day (6.30am to 7am AEDT on November 29).

Earlier, Toyota Motor Sales USA president and CEO Jim Lentz will kick off the Los Angeles Auto Show by delivering the Motor Press Guild keynote address at 8am (3am AEDT on November 29).

Mr Lentz will explain how Toyota is facing a new automotive era and collaborating with other automakers and industries to adapt to new conditions.

The industry veteran, who has been with Toyota for three decades, is the first American to serve in the position of CEO of Toyota Motor Sales, USA.

Mr Lentz also sits on the company’s board of directors and serves as a managing officer for the parent company, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in Japan.
