The last Sunday in July is a sacred day for the thousands in the Mopar family as they come from far and wide to Queensland’s Willowbank Raceway to celebrate the 10th Annual Mopar Sunday. Mopar enthusiasts will have the chance to be a spectator or to take part in a range of events including drag racing, a dyno shootout, show and shine and a swap meet. With the swap meet on site there will be plenty of opportunity to pick up some memorabilia, that part that’s been eluding you or generally just catch up with fellow Mopar enthusiasts. The range of cars will for the weekend is expected include old skool muscle to the latest Mopars on the market. A number of these cars will hit the drag strip and put all garage talk aside as they battle to be the fastest car down the quarter mile. As with previous years naming sponsors Leo Muller Chrysler Jeep Dodge and Albion Chrysler Jeep and Dodge are putting their support behind the event and are sure to offer some great displays of all-new vehicles that are on the Australian market. Mopar Sunday will take place at Willowbank Raceway Sunday July 29. Spectator entry is $25 at the gates with the gates opening at 7am and competition expected to start at 8am. Depending on the weather the day is set to wind up at approximately 3:30pm. . Photo by Phil Melvin See the original post... |
