09-03-2012 at 09:00: Honda’s CBR125R to Come in Three

Proving that good things come in small packages, Honda Australia is excited to announce the release of its smallest sportsbike, the CBR125R in three brand new colours.

Champion inspired Repsol colour, traditional Tri colour and menacing Black colour schemes will flank the LAMS approved sportsbike for 2012.

With reigning World MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner riding for the Repsol Honda Team again in 2012, Honda is positive the inspiration for the Repsol team colours will only escalate.

Powered by a reliable, fuel-efficient, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, the CBR125R is an ideal entry level motorcycle. The CBR125R boasts a revised PGM-FI fuel injection system which ensures greater fuel economy and reduced emissions.

Designed to nurture riders with exciting performance led riding dynamics, the CBR125R gives young riders the opportunity to develop sports riding skills while presenting seasoned riders with a fun, economical commuter machine.

Control and a superb ride feel are guaranteed by the CBR125R’s premium suspension components while its lightweight diamond twin-spar steel frame with sporty geometry has been designed for intuitive and exciting handling. This is made even more manageable by a low kerb weight of just 137kg.

The learner approved model features an effective exhaust system incorporating an oxygen sensor and a Tri-metal catalytic converter. The catalyser ensures the CBR125R easily complies with emissions legislation.

Honda’s most compact power-pack offers all of the CBR precision expected from a Honda sportsbike and these three new striking designs will have beginner riders aspiring to be champions.

The Repsol CBR125R will be available in late March and Tri-Colour and Black in early April, 2012.

The nimble but sporty CBR125R will continue to retail at a highly competitive $3,990 MLRP.
