Queensland Racing Drivers Championship (QRDC) prepares to begin the 11th championship season on Saturday 31st and Sunday 1st April at Queensland Raceways, Willowbank.

With a broad spectrum of cars this year including Datsun 1600’s, WRX’s, V8 Commodores and Gemini’s, the on track action is going to be fabulous throughout the weekend.

“We are especially excited to kick-off another season of QRDC,” said Neil Lewis, Events Manager of Queensland Raceways.

“This is one of my favourite events and looking at the entries for this year it’s going to be another great Championship. With new drivers, new competition vehicles and non-stop action we are expecting another great championship.”

When asked who he’d tip for the championship, Neil commented “With seven categories this year, we have some very talented drivers and competition will be fierce. The championship could be anyone’s, ask me again after round 2 and I’ll give you my tip”.

Run over two days, Queensland Racing Drivers Championship will see thrills, spills and competitive racing on both days including practise sessions, qualifying and racing. Split into seven categories, the on track action will start at 8:30am and run through to 4:00pm.
