Short supply has not hindered Suzuki Australia with the start of year sales figures recording a total of 1667 sold in the month of January. These figures gave Suzuki their third best January sales to date. “Given the stock shortages we had with key performers in Alto and Grand Vitara, it represents a terrific result,” said Suzuki Australia General Manager Tony Devers. “We are now feeling the final effects of the industrial dispute that hit India last year, disrupting our supply of our second biggest selling model. “We have strong dealer orders for the supplies that are arriving in February, where we are confident of getting back on to track to another record year for the company.” Devers said the imminent arrival of the exciting Swift Sport at the end of February was another sign of good things to come for the company. “The new Swift Sport signals the return of the affordable hot hatch, a car fully loaded for today’s performance light car buyer. “It signals the start of some exciting new product for Suzuki, with upgrades due across our range in the next 18 months.” See the original post... |
