Renault is releasing the special edition to help celebrate the Australia’s summer. The Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet Summer Edition will be on offer for a limited time and comes with some striking features.

The Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet will now come standard with charcoal leather seats and 18-inch alloy wheels.  The Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet Summer Edition retains the highly competitive recommended retail price (RPP) of $45,990.

Typically charcoal leather seats are available as an option at $1,800.  The 18-inch wheels have not previously been available in Australia and are valued at $1,500.  As such the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet Summer Edition represents $3,300 additional value.

The Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet Summer Edition is the perfect vehicle in which to enjoy the tempestuous Australian summer.  It has a striking, full glass roof for rainy days which can fold away in just 22 seconds to enjoy the sunshine.

Boasting a long line-up of standard features, including satellite navigation, hands-free entry, rear parking sensors and Bluetooth with audio streaming, the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet Summer Edition is the ideal balance of comfort and value.

Following the launch of the new Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet in late 2010, Renault has seen an 84% increase in sales from 2010 to 2011.  The Mégane range leads the way for Renault Australia, representing 41% of total sales in 2011.

According to Justin Hocevar, Managing Director of Renault Australia the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet Summer Edition is a welcome addition to Renault’s popular Mégane range.
