Ryan Farrell has beaten American drivers Shane Stewart and Jason Johnson to claim the WSS feature race in Bunbury this past weekend. But Farrell still has a long way to go before he can catch up to AHG Sprintcar Series point score leader, Jamie Maiolo. There are 1663 points and 27 positions between Farrell and Maiolo. Despite not qualifying for the A main, Maiolo still leads the way with second place rival Jason Kendrick 83 points behind. Rookie competitor Trent Pigdon is in third place and Bradley Maiolo sits in fourth, ahead of Kerry Madsen, who both moved up one place following the latest round of the WSS. Ben Ellement missed out on racing over the weekend and as a result has fallen to back to sixth position. David Piolo remains in seventh ahead of the Flex Motorsport drivers – Nathan and Sheldon Brady. Teams will be preparing their cars for the grand final this weekend at the Perth Motorplex, they’ll face stiff completion from 4 American drivers looking to take out the top spot. The final will take place over two nights and both meets count as point scoring rounds for the AHG Sprintcar Series championship. AHG SPRINTCAR SERIES POINTSCORE (After Round #14) 1.
