Romance and race tracks don’t often go hand in hand, pardon the pun, but for Valentine’s Day 2012, Queensland Raceway (QR) is doing something a little bit different to the normal candle lit dinner.

If you love cars or bikes or both, are single or in a relationship then QR is the place to be on February 14th. The offer is the gates will open at 5pm and close at 9pm, and between that time you will get a meal a cold drink and up to 90 minutes of track cruising time.

While some couples will take the opportunity to share a cruise around the track on sunset; singles will be choosing to cruise date rather than speed date as they meet like minded motoring enthusiasts.

What better way to spend a romantic night together then under the stars cruising he freshly updated Queensland raceway?

DETAILS
When: Tuesday February 14th, 2012
Where: Queensland Raceways Ipswich, Champions Way, Willowbank
Time: Gates open at 5:00pm and close at 9:00pm
Cost: Tickets $30 per head (Tickets include a meal, a cold drink, and 90 minutes of cruising time on the track)
Welcome: Couples, singles, cars and motorcycles welcome
Note: No motorcycles allowed on track cruises with cars
Extra: Cash bar available once cruising has finished
