In passenger car sales, HMCA ranked fourth for the month with 5,174 vehicles sold and a market share of 11.3 per cent. The multi-award winning Hyundai iLoad van range placed first in the van segment with its best-ever monthly market share result since launch of 40.3 per cent. iLoad achieved 639 vehicle sales. ix35 ranked in second place in the SUV compact segment with 1,063 sales; and iMax finished the month with 162 units sold, ranking it second in the people mover segment. “The iLoad van range continues to make friends in this market, its testament to the product’s capabilities,” said Damien Meredith, Director of Sales, Hyundai Motor Company Australia. “People are continuing to discover the versatility, safety and affordability of the iLoad van range.” |
Hyundai Motor Company Australia (HMCA) finished in fourth position overall with 7,226 sales, achieving a market share of 8.9 per cent in July. The sales result saw an increase of +10.6 per cent July 2011 v. July 2010 in a market which was down -1.7 per cent over the same period.^ Back to top ^
