27-06-2011 at 09:00: New Audi Landmark Opens for Brisbanites

Brisbane’s heart of design and style has a new architectural icon as of last week with the opening of the new Audi Terminal, Audi Centre Brisbane.

Fortitude Valley has in recent years become a mecca for high-end design stores, hotels and premium brands. The opening of Audi Centre Brisbane’s new facility at 586 Wickham Street is sure to create a new land-mark for the area and a haven for fans of Australia’s fastest growing premium automotive brand of the last five years.

With an internal display area for 25 new cars allowing for the comprehensive Audi range, and a 20 service and diagnostic bay workshop, the new Audi Centre Brisbane will deliver a superior level of brand experience and customer support.

The $11milliion new facility represents a major investment by Dealer Principal Greg Willims and is a strong statement of confidence in the Audi brand since being appointed as Audi Dealer for Brisbane last year.

“The new facility is “the culmination of an intense period of activity for us in getting the Terminal ready in time to welcome the arrival of the new Audi A6, which is now only days away,” Mr Willims said.

“We wanted to clearly demonstrate that Audi is ready to make an even bigger impact in the Brisbane market. Any visitor to or traveler through Fortitude Valley will clearly see how strong a brand Audi has become and know that we stand ready to provide an experience that is truly worthy of such progressive vehicles,” he said.

The official opening of the new Audi Centre Brisbane Terminal was attended by an enthusiastic group of Audi owners and Brisbane business and social identities. Audi Australia Managing Director Uwe Hagen officiated at the event and said: “Brisbane is a very important market for Audi. When we look at this great new facility and its location right in the style heart of the city, we know it will be a huge success.”

“Greg clearly had the vision to create a fitting home for Audi and I know he and his dedicated team of 60 will deliver a total ownership experience that will set a new standard for the premium motoring fans of Brisbane.”

“Audi Centre Brisbane will continue to play a greater role in our nationwide story of growth,” Mr Hagen said.
